HOSTS

Meet the voices behind Great Lakes Radio.

Great Lakes Radio grows out of the things we're genuinely curious about — spirituality, philosophy, human potential, mindfulness, history, animals, homesteading, music, storytelling, gaming, community and the strange little adventures that happen along the way.

We're not trying to fit ourselves into a conventional radio format.

We're interested in good questions, interesting people and conversations worth having.

REVEREND CHICKIE HAUTE

Reverend Chickie Haute is also a minister, writer, host, musical artist, designer and creator whose work explores spirituality, human potential, self-help, mindfulness, self-awareness and the ways people understand themselves and the world around them.

Her conversations move freely between personal experience, concepts of creation, consciousness, responsibility, personal growth and potential.

She also brings her curiosity into the Great Lakes community, speaking with business owners, creators, community figures and other interesting people whose lives, ideas and experiences offer something worth discovering.

And because life isn't entirely philosophy, you'll also hear Chickie talking about music, animals, homesteading, farm life and whatever unexpected subject wanders into the conversation.

MINISTER JOHN COLLIE

Minister John Collie brings a love of spirituality, philosophy, history, storytelling, ancient works, gaming, music and life on the farm to Great Lakes Radio.

On The Lantern Tree, John explores ancient writings, old ideas, folklore, philosophy, history and the stories people have carried forward through generations.

His conversations may travel from an ancient text to a forgotten piece of Great Lakes history, from spiritual philosophy to the story of a local person or business helping shape the community today.

John also brings his imagination to the gaming table as Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons Storytime, and joins Chickie for conversations about music, animals, homesteading and everyday life.

TWO PEOPLE. A LOT OF INTERESTS.

Great Lakes Radio isn't built around a conventional radio format.

It's built around curiosity.

Sometimes we're talking about spirituality.

Sometimes we're digging into philosophy or something written hundreds — or thousands — of years ago.

Sometimes we're talking with someone doing something fascinating in the Great Lakes community.

Sometimes we're trying to understand what an animal is communicating.

Sometimes there's music.

And sometimes somebody rolls a natural one.

That's Great Lakes Radio.
