Great Lakes Radio is independently created and operated by Reverend Chickie Haute and Minister John Collie.
Programming reflects the views, experiences, opinions and perspectives of the people participating in each program.
Nothing presented by Great Lakes Radio should automatically be interpreted as individualized medical, legal, financial, mental-health or other professional advice.
Listeners are responsible for deciding how information presented through Great Lakes Radio applies to their own circumstances.

Unless otherwise indicated, original Great Lakes Radio programming, interviews, written material, graphics, photographs, artwork, audio, video, recordings, logos, branding and other original content are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
Third-party music, books, artwork, photographs, trademarks and other materials remain the property of their respective copyright, trademark or other rights holders.
Nothing appearing on Great Lakes Radio transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property to Great Lakes Radio.

Quotations, excerpts, images, recordings and other Great Lakes Radio materials remain subject to applicable copyright, trademark and other laws, including any rights or exceptions that may apply under law.

MUSIC & ARTIST FEATURES
Great Lakes Radio features selected independent musical artists through interviews, conversations and related music programming.
Artists do not pay Great Lakes Radio to be considered, interviewed, featured or played.
Great Lakes Radio also does not pay guests simply for interviews or appearances.
DIRECT PERMISSION TO USE MUSIC
Music provided directly to Great Lakes Radio for a feature or broadcast must be submitted by a person who owns or controls the applicable rights or has sufficient authority to grant Great Lakes Radio permission for the intended use.
When music is accepted for a Great Lakes Radio feature, appropriate permission for broadcast, streaming and any other agreed use must be established between Great Lakes Radio and the person or entity authorized to grant those rights.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Great Lakes Radio does not provide compensation for an artist's interview, appearance, promotional feature or submission of material.
Submission of musical interest does not guarantee an interview, feature or airplay.
Great Lakes Radio maintains editorial and programming discretion regarding which artists and recordings are featured.
NO PAY-TO-PLAY
Great Lakes Radio does not sell musical or commercial airplay.
Artists are selected because we believe their music, creative work or story may be interesting to our listeners.
Payment does not determine editorial selection or airplay.
Likewise, appearing on Great Lakes Radio does not automatically create an employment, sponsorship, endorsement or commercial relationship between the guest and Great Lakes Radio.
INTERVIEWS & GUEST APPEARANCES
Great Lakes Radio may interview business owners, musicians, artists, historians, community members, creators, farmers, makers, spiritual or philosophical thinkers and other people whose stories or experiences we believe may interest our listeners.
Guests are not employees of Great Lakes Radio merely because they participate in an interview or program.
Unless another arrangement is expressly agreed upon in writing, guests are not paid for interviews or appearances and are not charged to participate.
Great Lakes Radio may edit recorded interviews for length, clarity, technical quality, scheduling and appropriate presentation while endeavoring to preserve the substance and meaning of the conversation.
BUSINESSES & COMMUNITY FEATURES
A person, business, organization, artist or project appearing on Great Lakes Radio does not automatically mean that they:
paid for coverage,
sponsored Great Lakes Radio,
received payment from Great Lakes Radio,
endorsed Great Lakes Radio,
were endorsed by Great Lakes Radio, or
entered into a commercial partnership with Great Lakes Radio.
We frequently feature people simply because we find their story, work, knowledge or experiences interesting.
Great Lakes Radio retains editorial discretion over all community features and interviews.
AUDIOBOOKS & LITERARY WORKS
Great Lakes Radio intends to broadcast only literary and audiobook material that may lawfully be used for the intended purpose.
This may include public-domain works, appropriately licensed material, original works or material used with permission from the applicable rights holder.
The inclusion of a literary work on Great Lakes Radio does not transfer ownership of that work or any underlying rights.
COMMUNITY INFORMATION & SUBMISSIONS
Great Lakes Radio welcomes information about interesting people, businesses, musicians, events, history, organizations, places, projects and happenings throughout the Great Lakes community.
Submitting information does not guarantee that it will be published, discussed, investigated, interviewed or broadcast.
